Sub- Topic: Becoming God's Business Partner. [GoBuPa]

Text: 1Cor. 3:9 (AMP)

I'm happy to introduce you to a platform of importance. A great and effective opportunity you can have access to without special connection. A partnership you can join without capital. A profitable joint-business venture without your collateral. Welcome the Gobupas- God's Business Partners. 

What a privileged we have to receive such an opportunity. One of the major act of spiritual service is to enter into business partnership with God. This is neither being a sponsor or covenant supporter to a ministry or church project or broadcast, nor walking with God, that is fellowship. It is working with God in a business relationship although this is built on fellowship with Him.  We shall see how.

Introduction to Gobupa

God's Business Partner or Partnership is another deeper way we can serve God participantly. It is a joint venture with God. It is giving yourself to God and working hand-in-hand with Him. It is a positional arrangement in which you stand where God would stand to do what God would do.

It is partaking in the same business God is doing, doing it the same way he is doing it and sharing the return thereof. 

Remember it is a partnership, there is profit sharing ratio and guess what, you have the whole profit. How? We shall see soon. 

Origin Of GOBUPA

The origin of gobupa is fetched here in the word of God. Get this right,....

Anything that is not in the word of God has nothing to do with God.

It originated from the epistle of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, the first of its kind in the ninth verse of the third chapter: 

For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God’s building. AMP

There are three things I will love to clarify here. 

We are God's Fellow Worker with God.

First, we are God's fellow worker. With Him means with Him. So people have wondered for some times now, the possibility of a God working with a mortal man. 

Well, we are working with Him because first, we have known him. Second, we are walking with Him and third because we are Spirit being, having the spirit of God in us. Knowing fully well that a spirit can only work with a Spirit. 

God is a labourer. Jesus is a labourer. We are also a labourer: 

In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” John 5:17 NIV 

Now we see Jesus giving us the nature of God who is still working as he is also doing. Now, God we read, rested from all his work on the seventh day, at least in clear genesis term. See Gen. 2:2. Then, is the scripture contradictory? No. God is a labourer who laboured for seven days.(But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 2 Pet. 3:8 NIV). Seven days here can mean a number of thousands of years. Well, He rested from all. 

Figuratively, God has stopped working but He still work but this time around in us and through us and that is the basis of the partnership. Hear Jesus: 

All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent me, for there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end. John 9:4 TLB

The task of Him that sent me- God. If for example, a manger of a company delegates an assignment to his secretary. When the work is done and the manger present it at the board meeting, who does it? The manger.

This is the essence of Gobupa. It is more deeper than the normal Christian service and it is not for ministers of God only. Have you heard Apostle Paul saying: 

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which [was] toward me has not been without fruit, but I labored more abundantly than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God with me. 1Cor. 15:10 MKJV.

Paul said the grace was with him. That is, they worked together to do the labour. That is Him- Jesus representing the Chief Partner- the Godhead.

God's fellow worker for God

Second, we are God's fellow worker working for God. See Amplified Version again. Also see Good News Translation:

For we are partners working together for God, and you are God's field.

God is the owner of the business. We only came in on invitation. God said, come, let us reason together....(on this) See Isaiah 1:18. This business God preordained since creation. He established the Eden and invested huge amount of financial and nonfinancial asset there. Then he handover to the man Adam and said to him: 

"Pros­per! Re­produce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for ev­ery living thing that moves on the face of Earth." Gen. 1:28 The MSG.

And God says the only thing I want in return is just the glory, the praise. The angel that announced Jesus birth in Luke 2:14 helped us on this matter:

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. MKJV

Good will. Will of the earth and all that is inside, are for who? Of course, men. It is ours, God does not need them, he only need the glory thereof. See the revelation King David got about it: 

The heavens belong to the Lord,but he has given the earth to all humanity. Ps. 115:16.

So clear, God gave the investment to man, for the praise of himself.

It is so sad enough that men accommodated a thief as a business consultant at the headquarters in Eden- The Serpent. When he came, he gave the Assistant Managing Director Mrs. Adams Eve a nice and attractive business advise. She followed and also co-op the Managing Director Mr. Adam Adams. The result was the bankruptcy and change of ownership when the Professor of Lies took over the dominion from them and he became the new Managing Director. (See Gen. 3). The new managing director introduced himself to Jesus in the gospel of Luke for our understanding:

Then the Devil took him up and showed him in a second all the kingdoms of the world. “I will give you all this power and all this wealth,” the Devil told him. “It has all been handed over to me, and I can give it to anyone I choose. Luke 5:6-7 GNT

Yet, the Earth is the Lord and its fullness thereof. Ps.24:1. 

The devil stole it. He said it was delivered to him. He did not say he is the owner. So, God remain the owner forever and because he has given it to man. We are in charge. That is exactly what God did to recover this for men. He launched the Reconciliation Campaign through Reconciliation Account ("Reconciliation is an accounting process that uses two sets of records to ensure figures are accurate and in agreement. Reconciliation is the key process used to determine whether the money leaving an account matches the amount spent, ensuring the two values are balanced at the end of the recording period."). I will show you later. He reinvested Jesus and reconciled men back to himself for the same purpose of glory and praise. This is what Apostle Peter discovered: 

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 1Pet. 2:9 KJV

So, we are to work for him. We are not the owner of the business. He put us in charge. We must give the balance sheet or statement of financial position- (a financial statement that summarizes a company's assets, liabilities and shareholders' equity at a specific point in time. These three balance sheet segments give investors an idea as to what the company owns and owes, as well as the amount invested by shareholders.)

at the end of the transaction on earth. Yet we must give him daily reports every seconds. This phrase look incorrect right? That is how it should be. We must give him report per seconds.

We are God's field

The third fact is that we are God's field. Now we talk of Him working with us. We further see that we work for him. Now we must know that he is the one who also work in us as a field first. Truly, God work in us to work with him and work for him. Very clearly we see it from the scriptures: 

Remember it is God who, in his kindness, is at work within you, enabling you both to will and to work. 20cNT Version

He work in us to make us fit.  Hear this: 

Anyone who does not permit God to work in Him is not qualified to work for God.

God cannot allow any one whom he has not work in him, to work for Him. When he work in us. He do spiritual sanitation of our lives and shapes us to fit for his work. When we don't permit Him. We create limitations for ourselves.

We are God's building

Lastly from the text, we see that we are God's building. What a privilege. So God has his bedroom in us, toilet, chicken, garage, resting room.etc in us. How should we take care of the building that is not ours. The building is his. He will take care of it as he so desire. So, working for God is safe. May God grand us help.

The Divine Partnership Deed [DPD]

The divine partnership deed  comprises of those guidelines and duties of each Kingdom partner. Here, we have two partners. God and you. The following is obtainable:

1. The business name is Kingdom Reconciliation Mandate. See: 

To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2Cor. 5:19 ASV.

2. Partner status:

God- Active Partner

Man- Nominal/Sleeping Partner.

Only if we want to prove smart is when we will say, I did it for God. No, he did it through us. He is always active in us.  

Profit Sharing Ratio:

God: Glory/Harvest of Souls.

Man: Blessings and God's Will.

Position of Partners.

The position of God- the owner, active partner and the defender.

Position of Man- depending on God, man has these things to carry out: via the 

Spirit- to connect with God and get instruction and direction.

Soul- to process the information and bring it to reality. 

Body- to carry out the physical assignment. For example: preaching, praying, walking.etc.

Joint Position- God and Man. Doing the work together.

Accounting.

This shall be carried out by man.

The Reconciliation Statement.

God deposited Jesus.

Cr: Jesus

Dr: Sin/Sickness/Demonic Oppression

Bal. Righteousness.

Capital Account

God- All Assets.

Man- Zero Asset

That is why we will give account back to him. (The balance sheet or statement of financial statement)

Current Account

God-  glory

Man- blessings

How to Partner With God.

Give your life to God.

Make a Commitment to Him.

Engage in Service unto God in all spears. 

Get your field of evangelism and invest in other fields of soul winning.

Engage the gifts of God which he gave for this purpose. See Roman 12:4-8, 1Cor. 12:7-10, Eph. 4:11.

Give all he has given you to the service of God.

We have the Grace partnering with us, so we can be sure of inexhaustible resources from heaven. Rom.12:4.

We must go beyond ordinary Christian practice, we must be in partnership with God.

God says, come, come.
