Tell the host of wickedness in the social media places that an eruption is about to break out. Men who have received the touch of live coals are ready to cause spiritual blizzards in the social media for the kingdom; men who have answered yes to God’s call to the gospel on air with a do-or-die faith. Men who have be awaken out of their unaware slumbering. Men of great passion, zeal and gifted hands. They are called “Air-Rugged”, “men on air mission”. Behold the rise of Social Media Missionaries, (SMM).
Instant Responses and the Treats
Am so grateful to God for the encouraging responses I received on the part one of this piece. I also thank as many who have responded and still responding with faith and fire and not with fear and faint. Men who responded with a shout are now in a deep thought on how to take the first step and make this happen. Others with sober minds pray the prayers of hope. One of the responses that blow my mind yesterday read:
“….Meet the needs of a time like this…. I do preach there but I’ll increase the tempo by posting three times a day so it can meet up with the appropriate time zone of other countries….”
In fact, I must confess, our generation is cooking something and the kingdom of darkness does not know and cannot understand. Because according to scriptures, darkness has zero understanding of whatever Light is doing since it cannot understand Light Himself. Tell the world about the outbreak of the media evangelists, apostles, prophets, pastors and teachers; tell them the mission has just began.
This is how I interpreted the media version of Eph. 4:10-12 (Paraphrased):
He that descended is the same also that ascended up (also to World Wide Web) far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, social media apostles; and some, social media prophets; and some, social media evangelists; and some, social media pastors and teachers….For the perfecting of the saints in the media, for the work of the online ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ on air…
The Description of the Call
When it pleased God, who separated us from our mother’s womb, he gave us a copy of the pen he used to write the Ten Commandments and the volume of the book written about Jesus. Thank God we do not take the grace of God for granted. God is no more making neither altar call nor un-altar call; he is only sending us a reminder. I heard something like, where are my gifted fingers and hands sent to the world? There are still much to be known about God free of charge. I hear God saying, I need men, I need men, I need men!!!
What kind of call is the call to the social media at this time? What are the compositions of what we call the social media missionaries (SMM)? What are their roles and how do we go about the business?
See, I have called by name…...And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship….To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,….And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. Ex. 31:1-5
We are equipped; in us is the river of wisdom, we are limitless in understanding, we can do all manner of media workmanships. We can start counting from Bloggers, Graphics Designers, Web Developers, these men are called to devise cunning works, Programme Builders and Application Builders are appointed to work in gold, silver and brass. They are to build applications which can either be a gold, silver or brass. Writers, Editors, Dramatists, Artists and many others are called to cut stones, to set them in strategic locations, to carve timbers and make rest place for people, to bring something from something.
The word of God is their tools. Because, it is only God’s word that has the capacity to cut, break and to discern all the thoughts and the intents of the heart of men. The word of God when discovered, is our weapon.
Stop contending for a pulpit, the media has unlimited pulpits for you. I hear them saying, brother perform!
For follow up on this clarion call, we will like to encourage as many people who have been raised by God by this call and wish to be part of the move but do not know how to go about it and those who wish they can be of help to others in this capacity.
