BE ENGAGED WITH THE RIGHT BURDEN by Gbotoluwa P. Ogunkeye

BE ENGAGED WITH THE RIGHT BURDEN

by Gbotoluwa P. Ogunkeye

A man saw one of his colleagues carrying a basket of oranges when he was asked to carry a whole full bucket of water. Luckily enough, he was there when they were given the instruction. So the following conversation ensued between them:

Man: Friend, why are you carrying a basket full of oranges instead of a full bucket of water?
Friend: Am I?
Man: Can't you see?
Friend: As long as I am carrying something I don't think I will be rejected.

(The man pleaded with his friend to do the right thing before he gets to his destination but he wasn't listening. Unfortunately, when they got to the destination the man was rejected because what he brought didn't serve any purpose at that time.)

There are some 'seeming rights' that are wrong for us and yet we still embark on them. You know what God has called you to do but yet you are still engaged with the wrong thing. This can't be called ignorance instead, it is negligence.

Okay, you don't know yet, you don't still want to know, how will you be fulfilled?

Yes, the world await our manifestations but, are we not serving them the wrong meal on their tables? What we are giving them are they not the wrong thing at the right time? Some people are dyinly waiting for you to give their predicament the right dosage.

Burden comes with a passion, what you are not passionate about you can not create burdened for. Fill your heart with the necessary things and show it forth that God may be glorified. Your mindset, your thoughts and your current thinking should be set rightly for God looks for a pure heart.

When you are burdened to know Him more and more, you will always be engaged with the right burden to do the right thing per time.

Okay, you are engaged with the right burden  but are you taking the work with a serious heart? Don't forget that a purpose is for an appointed time. So, understanding time and season is very important like the sons of Issachar. 1 Chron. 12:32.

N.B Remember that if you are not ready to do the right thing and fill the necessary vacuum, other persons will do just what you left undone.

Remain blessed,
