AN EXAMPLE TO THE SAMPLES: JAMES OLUWAFEMI by Femi A. Falade

Screening from the scripture that directs our attention not to be not slothful, but to be followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises, (Heb. 6:12), it is expedient to give account of what God has help us see and follow in a Saint. 

Please carefully follow this piece, it will guide you on what kind of man or woman you should be and what we must focus our mind on while learning from people who have gone ahead of us. 

PASTOR FEMI JAMES IS A man of grace who has time for every of his sons and daughters. 

Pastor Femi James is a giver; a strange giver and desperate sacrificial giver indeed. His testimonies in giving have continued to remain a wonder to me. No wonder he does not lack divine help. As a passionate giver, God had sat upon him on this matter; this level of brokenness in giving is not for ordinary men.

He is a lover of God. Like he would always say to me, “Son, if there is anything that drives me in whatever I am doing, it is because I love God, I love Him passionately”. His love for God is always a wonder to me. The love is obvious in His choice of things and in his devotion to God’s and his word. 

Daddy Femi James is a father. I have continued to learn the practice of spiritual fatherhood has he has become a grandfathers with many father he has raised, myself inclusive. His fatherly roles are wow in demonstration. God has indeed called him to this business of raising many children for Him. 

I have leant diligence from him. He is a very diligent man. His prayer life has continued to challenge me. He is a prayer personified. His diligence shows in all his commitment to God and to his people. He understands the place of prices to pay to enjoy kingdom promises.

I have also learnt endurance and longsuffering from him. He is a man of long patience. A man that engages quietness in wisdom. His soundness in enduring God’s word has profited his journey with God in the ministry. I love His popular saying, “Since the day I yielded to God, I have never regretted it, I enjoy my walk with Him”. He understands the place of competence and in all the things we found in his hand, he shows us examples of competencies. 

I also learnt from him that fasting cannot kill. That sounds funny though, it is a reality. With my popular saying that, those who fast would be fast in life, the strange order of his fasting has remained a testimony in the workings of the miraculous, raising the dead bodies (dead for days), supernatural orders and raw prophetic operations. Pastor Femi is a result-delivery servant of God and a prophet by proof, signs and wonders. All to the glory of God.

I have also learnt humility from him. Seeing his humble spirit and appearance, you would want to doubt if he can kill a fly, Smiles. I have not seen one demon that challenges his authority not even in their kingdom. His humility is a strong instruction to us that, only God deserves the glory.  

Prophet Femi is brave. I learnt to be brave from him also. He can speak the truth anywhere and to anybody no matter your status or stature. He has defended the rugged faith in the presence of fake servants of God and those of the devil. He is a lion in spiritual appearance and dove in physicality. 

I have learnt from him that, when we don’t have proof, we are not productive. All his devotions to God and special ministrations are followed by proofs. He is a man who carries the shekinah of God all the time. I remember a day God said to me while praying to go to him and that he is currently praying and as I went, the word came again. Ever fresh in God’s word and prophesy. He will always say, “Femi, am praying for you”. In other times he would say, “Femi, am praying for God’s Wrestlers Ministries and before all your meetings in Akungba”.

What more can I say? I have learnt many things from him and every contact with Him has remained a blessing. He is a light and brings illumination to me anytime I come “home”. There are people around us whose light shine to our path. The scripture says, we can follow their examples. 

You are a good example sir, I celebrate you on your Day.
