Turning Your Wilderness to City
Keys for making the most out of your Weaknesses
By Femi A. Falade
You might not realise that you are in a wilderness until you hear the stories of others. This piece will make you know the kind of wilderness you may be and how to make it a city. I found out in my little experience in life that no wilderness loves to be one. I have leant how to live beyond my weakness and turn wilderness to city over the years. I have obtained testimonies of “One with God- Majority”. I also discovered that,
weakness is the pathway to relegation, but when worked on, it is a flight to elevation.
Wilderness can be cure or tick, partial or empty. None of them is good for a promising future.
I was weak and now I am strong! The recommendation of the scriptures is captured in faith-insight, the just shall live by faith. Which faith? The faith that makes the weak to say, I am strong even when he is still weak, (See Joel 3:10)
Weakness is a glorified shame.
The word itself sounds weak and sent weak sympathy to people around a man.
The strength of anything is directly synonymous to its glory
When a man is week, he is closer to shame.
I remembered my first semester on campus when I was still an undergraduate. I was given a course in the faculty of art. I called it one boring course “History and International Studies”. One of my brothers in the Lord would call it history and international rubbish.
I went to class one day and I saw people who are supposed to be called my colleagues speaking like the lecturer and exchanging ideals with him. I have no idea of what they were saying including common terms they used. That day, I went home and cried. I knew I was a pure commercial student, a lover of accounting and a student of Accounting Technician Scheme. Surely, this is my wilderness.
I found out from God’s word that it is not “this me” but “Christ in me”. I found out God’s promises. I invested my time studying “what I don’t know” and frequently committing them to God. By the time the GPA for that semester was released, friends, I was number two in the class.
Being in the wilderness is not an excuse for a wilderness life.
John the Baptist was in the wilderness from childhood, yet, he made notable impact and was honoured as the greatest prophet ever lived by Jesus.
Wilderness experience is a product of your mindset not your present seat.
You can come out of that wilderness and make most of the opportunities around you. These are the keys. You will need to see your weakness as a weakness common to all men including those people you see as successful men. You will also need to see your glorious future as achievable. You will need to look beyond what you see par time. You will need to find out available opportunities around you. You will need to be focused. You will need to write your vision in plane terms.
You will need to seek God’s face; the bible told us he gives strength to the weak. You will need to disallow distractions. You will need to endure the pains and be disciplined. You will need to believe in God in you. You will need to take step. You will need to make yourself happy and rejoice in the labours of your hands. You can turn that wilderness to city and make most of the little strength that remains in you now.
I love you, I see you breaking grounds in Jesus name.
See You at the Top!

All GLORY,HONOR AND ADORATION to almighty GOD. I appreciate God in you for His "walk" with u and His "work" in u. May u never depreciate in God's knowledge.
ReplyDeleteThe article is a life-blessing one. To corroborate what you've dealt with, I'll love to say we should stop limiting God's power in whatever situation we find ourselves(lev11:23NLT). Remember (john11:1-4) God always want to glorify Himself in us(including those ugly situations we are passing through)Most times we do say, "God can only provide for my spiritual needs but when it comes to my health, drugs is d best way out." going by the favorite quote of the world that voiced,'were la fi nwo were'(read in Yoruba language)---meaning "madness is cured with madness." I pray we grow more in His knowledge, in Jesus name. Amen.
Remain blessed...
