The Mystery of Spiritual Life
By Femi A. Falade
As real as death is, it is interesting to know that life is more real than it. Anybody who lives will know that life is experiential but death is not. Death is not an experience, life is. Anyone who has tasted death would appreciate life and if this life is now abundance, he would appreciate it more.
ȦBǏYЀ is the direct opposite of ȦBǏKǛ. Abiye is a Yoruba word that means Children born alive or Children that is alive. A living child is a living generation. Those who experience Abiku in their Christian journey only need to switch, switch from death to life. This is a revelation of Spiritual life.
Jesus did not save anyone to kill them again, he hate us being an Abiku. He saved us, gave us life and gave us more life that we can share with others, (See John 10:10). We are life-giving spirits, we are made in that capacity to live, eternal life and be a channel of eternal living for others. If you are born again, you are incorruptible, you have eternal life and you can life forever even if you pass the grave as a bus-stop it is not a destination.
Every believer is made an Abiye by God’s preordained purpose. The spirit of Abiku is from the devil and we must cast it out of our lives, families, ministries, countries and from our world. If you are experiencing spiritual dryness, it is because you have permitted the spirit of Abiku into your life.
CAST IT OUT
Life is not the opposite of death; it is only the absence of it. To avoid being an Abiku, we must cast out the spirit of lukewarmness in our lives by constant devotion and fellowship with God. We must know that we are called into eternal life and we must live in that respect.
Jesus is the light that lights everyone in the faith. It is His light that brought us from darkness to life and can sustains our lives, so as we fellowship with the light and move away from darkness, we shall never experience the spirit of Abiku in our walk with Him.
To experience an Abiye life of the spirit, you must accept no condemnation from the pit of hell. Instead, we must live in the spirit and walk in the spirit to show the spiritual products of our faith in the current world. That spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will quickens our mortal body to live like Christ. Abiye Christian lives and walk in the Spirit.
Abiye Christians are people who avoid satanic seduction and stay in the path of life. Demons are on the street and they packaged themselves as beautiful ladies and handsome guys. They are on missions, the devil as demonize their destiny to serve him. A growing believer, no matter his level of growth, can fall into their menace if the principle of “flee” is not adopted.
As Abiyes of the cross, we must have the ability to discern with our spirit the demon in every programmes, games, gathering, chat and relationships, among others. We must know that, the devil would even transform himself to an angel of light that he might deceive many of us. So don’t say, it is my father in the Lord, many father in the Lord are slaves and messengers of sin. May God grant us grace for quick discernment, Amen.
Abiye Christians are evangelical in nature. They know the principle of “stop them before they stop you”. They live a life of evangelization. Their lives challenge unbelievers to come to Jesus. They are people whose minds of Jesus could be read through their lives. Until we move to the stage that when people see us, they say, I want to serve the God you serve, we are still not there.
I think I should conclude that Abiye Christians are not perfect in everything. They are men who are walking and working daily with God to reach the fullness of Christ. So, even general overseers are not your sample because they also, like we are, press into the stature of Christ they set before themselves. We may be in different level, our target is the same and the provision we have are the same, we only explore it differently.
Never forget that, who is in you is greater than what is in the world and you have the perfect nature of God in you to live out for all eyes to see. Abiyes of the father are known by their fruits.
Glory to God.
Happy weekend.
