OTHER TIMES HE CALL

Due to perpetual increase in population and widespread of people everywhere, the innovation of telephone then and later modernised to the production of mobile phones used now for the main purpose of communication between people was inevitable. Through this device, an individual either calls or receives a call. And also, I learnt that there are times the owner decides not to pick  some calls for some reasons best known to Him, its all depends on His choice.

Just as our phones ring or we put calls through, our altars also does the same. But it saddens a lot that we only know how to call the altar and do not know when and how it rings.

Ok, you are justifying yourself now that i do my devotions everyday and God speaks to me there on how to go about my day and gives me other instructions, but what of the OTHER TIMES HE CALLS. Let me ask, assuming you work in a office and as you got to your place of work early in the morning, your boss calls you and gives you the documents to work on for the whole day, will you just assume that that's the whole work for the day? what of cases of emergency. I.e. a new job just came through during the day will you neglect it?

OK now, you still don't know how you neglect those calls, then let me highlight some few times it occurs: 

That moment when you were watching film and you know you ought to pray.

That moment you are filled with thoughts and you know God wants to have a chat with you.

Also, that moment you know God wants a 10minutes praise from you but you were busy with some things, 

Moreover, that moment that you are chatting with your friends and your altar calls you to intercede for someone somewhere,

Furthermore, that time you have decided to eat and your altar calls not to eat but fast and lots more.

But do you know the most painful thing there? At that time, we tend to satisfy the flesh in place of obeying God and start raising some flimsy excuses and we don't know we do those things because we don't take it serious.

Giving you a eye opener now, you see reasons why your fellowship with God tends to always reduce instead of increasing on daily basis or it may even be that how He speaks to you is just routines. 

WAY OUT

Let your heart be free at all times to hear him when he calls you, presenting your body as a living sacrifice unto Him.

'So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you'. ROM 12:1-2 MSG

NOTE: Keeping some basic heavenly principles makes us launch deeper into the dimensions of the supernatural without stress.
