WHY AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT MOTIVATED

We are in a world where we are close to the clans of discouragement than we ever experience. We are in a world in which discouragement have formed part of our encouragement. Our morals are high, our Spirits are alive but our souls are down. When we are asked, are you motivated? We replied that we are motivated yet in an unmotivated way.

When we look back and front, when we turn left and right, when we look up to the people we thought should encourage us, we found out that, we meet another and unexpected discouragement and we are left in confusional motivation.

In most cases, we have a missed feeling. We are both happy and sad at the same time. We are both motivated and unmotivated at the same intervals. We look hopeful and yet hopeless on the same matter. Please, why is this so?

Our motivation have sources the same way rivers have sources. The reason you are not motivated or having missed-feelings is because you have either detach yourself from the source of your motivation or you have left your motivation. If this is not so, then your motivator is wrong and your source of motivation is a wrong one. Nothing, no man, no amount of money or properties, no position or level of attainment can serve as motivator for you. They can perish in seconds. The only reliable motivator is the Holy Spirit. 

"Nothing motivates like the Holy Spirit."

Without Him, we will continue to be down in our spirits. We will not be willing without Him helping us because it is He that causes us to will and to do of.... good pleasures.

Please who motivated Papa Noah when building the ark of God in Genesis chapter 6. All the people around him, including his close relatives would not support his vision. But there was a motivation from on high.

Who motivated Jesus to die the death of the cross? The Holy Ghost must be at work. What motivation made Apostle Paul to live in jeopardy and die daily in his full gospel business.

What motivation Abraham secured to attempt a sacrifice of his only son, Isaac. Who motivated Hanah to give Samuel to the Lord. What kind of motivation made Joseph stay in slavery and in prison even when he had dubious opportunity to escape. Who motivated Peter before he started preaching God's word with power? 

Friends, when you are not motivated check what has been your motivation. Turn to God, let the Holy Ghost have and expression of Joy in you and give you the motivation you need. We don't serve an High Priest that doesn't know we have weakness and that cannot sympathies with us. He sympathies with us and lift our souls up for another level of strength. 

When you are not motivated pray that the Holy Spirit of Joy, peace and grace will sheared abroad in our hearts, the joy of the Spirit which brings strength, hope and motivation.
