THE CURRENT STATE OF OUR SISTERS

Our sisters are flabbergasting us with their sudden changes. The changes are so drastical that our surprises meet our worries any time we ruminate on the matter. We know them as mothers of the great tomorrow, but we soon begin to doubt if we have not missed up our hopes with abstract expectations. The current state of our sisters is alarming and we must take urgent step at restoring them.

THEIR FORMER STATE

Our sisters, in days like their birthdays or valentine day are known to be under spiritual incubation with devoted fasting and prayers. In a day to their birthday, they would plan to be a blessing to the less privileged. On valentine day like today, they would stay in their parents’ house to show that, they have no business in the street and in the clubs. 

We can smell humility in all their conducts. They are polite and credible. They call our brothers with the title brother and give them their due regards. Their dressing was a point of reference of moral excellence and dignity. They don’t compete with our brothers on trousers. We can easily see their faces when they are coming near us, their hairs do not cover their faces which make us doubt if they are the one or not. They don’t leave us in confusion whether they are dark or fear, whether they are cartoons or not. Their beauty is natural and we could appreciate God in their lives.

Our sisters don’t compete with our brothers in authority. They don’t say, “ladies first”. They don’t strife for headship. They don’t take the position of men. They don’t disrespect spiritual order. Our sisters don’t propose to brothers for courtship. They are intercessors and with patient, wait for God’s will. They cherish their spiritual growth to their fashion growth. We can continue to check their former state, we cannot exhaust them. What are now the changes and what brought all these?

THE CHANGES

We were soon lost in oblivion with the way our sisters have turned, from wife materials to car materials: from the sisterhood to expensive ladies. All the virtues of obedience have vanished away. All we are left with is this arrogant claim of equality, but why? Where did this feminine demon enter into our sisters too? 

It is sad to know that our sisters have now turned their birthdays to a party show. They have continued to believe God for a life partner even though they have many guys and brothers who are enamored and are responsible to them. The way our sisters now prepare for their birthday is scaring. Our sisters take their birthdays as date of new proposals or a flashy and splashy spending from their boyfriend as they call them. Our sisters now have category of partners. They have future partner, school partner, party partner, lunch partner, sex partner mostly secret etc, yet they have promised those innocent brothers that they are their life partners.

Today is another valentine day; our sisters would come with their troubles. They have all kinds of expectations from their guy as they call them. They have dreams and are competition among themselves. We will be seeing all manner of reddish attires and wears all in the name of love. Our sisters are now carnally minded and spiritual defocused.

Our sisters have also seen their humility as a special thing for some people. “Not everybody deserves my honour” they say. Pride has eaten up our sisters. With their extravagant dressing, they have zero up our brothers to be equal or even less than them. Their dressings have now become a matter of do or die when they walk into the church. With the way our sisters arrange their hair on their heads, we rarely noticed their real face when coming especially when they have “mascarad” and pan caked what they call, makeup. We rarely see any of them without a begging makeup which is fading away their correct and natural beauty.

It is also sad that our sisters, who are formerly prayer warriors, are soon becoming fashion warriors. They are now men conscious, fashion motivated and self-lifting when they pass through the streets. They have stopped being word conscious, heaven conscious and God conscious. All we hear from them is ladies first. They want to be the head and are preparing for it. They strive with our brothers on many matters. 

Our sisters now buy the most expensive trousers and more quantities than our brothers who are known with trousers. They no longer last in courtship. They prefer to eat their cakes and enjoy all pleasures of sin than chastity. God, will thou not revive our sisters again?

THE CAUTION

Our warning goes to our brothers who meet some of these sisters in church with all dedication and devotion to God after the devil has emptied them in the order of the destructive lives they have once lived. Our warning is to brothers who are carried away by words of mouth and would not take time to pray prayers of enquiry about the sisters they just met. This is a call to repentance to these sisters. Ma, you cannot eat your cake and have it. You cannot continue this way. Please turn back.

Our brothers too must be spiritually alert about the kind of sisters they meet. They need to be careful about their lives and their commitment to ungodly and undefined relationships.  Any sister that fall short the bible standard should not be found in the list of brothers. Brothers, take heed!
