MEET OUR LAUGHING HEAVENLY FATHER

Let me welcome you to the month of May, 2018 with an Holy Ghost Laugh, (Please laugh). For every season and time, the scripture told us there is a purpose, (See Eccl. 3:1). 

Purpose driven men are men who get God’s word to run their lives and not men’s calculations for articulation

God is always speaking and always opening a new page of grace for our lives as we hear and follow Him. So, let me welcome you to the month of your Laughter as God emphatically told us. The implication is that, whatever makes you cry before now will start making you laugh. 

I never knew God laughs until one day when I found the Scripture in Psalm 2:4 where the Bible told us God laughs. The laugh here is not an attempt to communicate God’s feeling but what God practically did. I have once told a group of people that, when God laughs, we must laugh too.

Laughing is one of the outer expressions of happiness and God has that nature. Laugh can also be an expression of pity on the powerlessness, vanity and useless plans of the enemies like we see in Psa. 2:1-7. God knows that kind of laugher is to make fool of the devil. When God laughs that way or as his sons and daughters we laugh that way, the devil has just got himself into trouble. THE DEVIL IS IN TROUBLE!!!

We shall be laughing away every sorrow because, contrary to those who thought it is for war, for trouble, for shame and for relegation for us will be disappointing them and all our stories will be joy and joy continually. 

I remember a day, myself and my precious prophetic daughter and sister in the common Faith, Atinuke, had to laugh in the Holy Ghost for some hours of the day, it was a period of revelations and prophetic operations. I see the power of laugh beyond opening our months and making noise. There are great mysteries hidden in our spiritual laughter. 

If He that dances is a dancer, he that sings, a singer, then he that laughs, he is a ‘laughter’

Don’t be deceived. The laughter we referring to here is the kind produced by the Holy Ghost joy, God’s orchestrated events, divine set up and arrangement in our lives. Even if we laugh like others do, our reasons for laughing cannot be the same. We laugh by knowledge in the name of our Lord Jesus, we laugh for, in and of victory. Sarah, who laughed first and denied he did not laugh knew why she said that. She knew that, laughing for us believers is not just opening our mouths. It is because God makes us laugh. Men who make you laugh are comedians, they do that in a feast of the flesh. 

When God makes you laugh, it can be in any of these categories:

1. Worship Laughs (Laughing in the Holy Ghost), 1Cor. 14:14

2. When God make mockery of your enemies in your present, 1Kings 18:27

3. When God do a great thing that is more than expression, Gen. 21:6

4. When God makes some interaction and chat with you, Gen. 3:6

5. When as God’s children, we do certain funny things to God, Exo. 33.

And many more. All these, shall form our focus and teachings this month.

In this month, we shall be laughing and those who see us, hear us and visit us, we laugh with us. Our laughter shall have Holy Ghost magnetic power to connect others. It shall carry the power to initiate others and the power to convict others of their sins. 

No more weeping, no more war, all we want, that we want and we want is the Joy of the Holy Ghost. We will laugh!
