A PEEP AT THE CONCEPT OF SPIRITUAL SERVICE by Femi A. Falade

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom. 12:1-2 

SPIRITUAL SERVICE narrowly put, means a service unto God. It is a deliberate engagement in kingdom assignments and dedication to working at any of the branches of God's business ventures.

Spiritual service can be offered by only spiritual being for God Himself is a Spirit. Every born again person is a spiritual being. John 3:4. In a broad sense, the services unto God are through humanity and they all centred at bringing and sustaining the once-lost back home.

The good news is that we can engage in this service in our different capacities and localities. These are the categories of Spiritual Service: Pulpit Spiritual Service, Street Spiritual Service, Rural S.S, Societal S.S, Political S.S, Economic S.S, Corporate S.S, Mobile S.S, Joint S.S, Local S.S, International S.S. etc. 

In this book, we shall learn the: Prerequisites to Spiritual Service, Ingredients of Spiritual Service, Acts of Spiritual Service, and the Benefits of Spiritual Service in different parts of the book. 

This commitment must be our priority every day no mater our place of occupation. The Lord said to me very clearly, that these blessings are designed for those who serve Him. Very clearly, the rewards are sure. 

We must make sure we commit ourselves to God's service as this book is prayerfully read. This season has been ordained for your blessings via obedience to the word- Spiritual Service. 

Ps. 22:30-31 reminds us that: 

 A seed serve Him; it shall be spoken of the LORD to the [coming] generation. They shall come, and shall declare His righteousness to a people that shall [yet] be born, that He has done this [MKJV]

 Our children and their children will get these benefits as the word is passed along from parents to children. Babies not yet conceived will hear the good news— that God does what he says. Let us, therefore, take quick action, God counts on us.
