You Are Sentenced to Life Eternal!

If you have ever been to court or watch any court related movie, you will easily understand that anytime the judge say “This is my judgement”, people, including the lawyers and the plaintiffs will all raised their heads up, alert and eager to hear what the judge will say. In most cases, some would be disappointed while others will be satisfied at least. What simply happens is simple. One party is justified while the other is condemned or judged. 

Welcome to the court of heaven. The judge is here. The defendant is here. The plaintiff is here. The witnesses are here. The lawyers for each party are also very present and the case is to be heard. 

Introduction of Your Accuser 

Let me expose the trick of the devil to you. 

He is the devil…….. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. " (John 8:44 Paraphrased) ……For the devil sinneth from the beginning…..(I John 3:8 paraphrased).

Additionally, ……His name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon (destruction), but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon (destroyer). (Rev. 9:11 Paraphrased)

Now take note of the fact that…… The accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Rev. 10:12)

So, he used to be present in the court but now absent forever. His shadow appears to you in court and seems real. That is the lies he cooked up against you every time you want to approach God’s presence.

So case closed. The case is settled before it is called. However, the challenge is, we are used to our heart relationship, the way our heart operate. It tells us that we are right today and tells us that we are wrong tomorrow. (See Rom 2:15). This is how your heart works with your conscience and whatever influences it forms its judgment. Therefore, if your heart is filled with God’s word, it will always give you courage to stand before God, (See Ps. 119:9-11).

The Holy Spirit is our help and guide. He is the one that helps our weaknesses. (Rom. 8:26). We can trust Him.

So when the world says you deserve death, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal Life. 

So when the world says you deserve war, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal peace.

So when the world says you deserve sorrow, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal joy.

So when the world says you deserve a shame, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal glory.

So when the world says you deserve sickness, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal sound health.

So when the world says you deserve bondage, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal freedom.

So when the world says you deserve poverty, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal riches.

So when the world says you deserve failure, God’s word say you are sentenced to Eternal success. 

Whatever God’s word says about you is true because that is the highest court in heaven and on earth. Everything Written about you is great. It is settled forever in heaven. 

You are sentenced to Life Eternal because you carry eternal God inside of you.
