THE ONLY PRAYER IN HEAVEN by Femi A. Falade

I recall that i said, where I once stood to minister that the only thing done in heaven was "praising God". Let me first apologize to those who heard. I  (who discovered that in those years) am the same person that discovered by acute help of the Spirit of God's word that in heaven, there is also "praying".

Don't think I'm only planning to share "rhema" like certain brothers would say, rather I want to make you realise and have an assurance of the intercession going on right now in heaven. 

There are two things involved in this. Firstly is that Jesus remains the only prayer personified at the right hand of God. This same Jesus remains the only one permitted to pray in heaven and He is still praying up till now.

God's word tells us, "He ever lives" to make intercession for us, (Heb. 7:25, para.) This means that, whereas  others are praising God, He also worships in heart as He prays. And whom does He pray for ? Us. This is how much Jesus loves you and I. He does not save you and still allow you to miss the Kingdom for which He died. 

He is able to save you to the end. Romans 8:34, says that He is sitted at the right hand of God to intercede for you. How can such High Priest let a drop of His grace fall away from you? 

He prays for you daily. This is not, however, a guarantee to be slack in the place of prayer as some do: who take this grace as license to laziness while  claiming that they don't have problems. 

Prayer is a fellowship; an interaction with the divinity. A communication with God. For if you prayed just for what you needed, what then when your needs are exhausted? Would you still pray? Jesus  already has won the victory for us all and still, He prays.

I can learn from Him who knows how to preserve what He has been given. Prayer is a preservative substance for what you have. Take a doze!

Get a breather! Take a moment! Make a stand! Build an altar! It is time to pray!
